Maitake
Maitake mushrooms are known as "dancing mushrooms" in Japanese and are praised for their medicinal benefits. They’re also commonly called the Hen-of-the-wood, and are found starting in late summer. You can find Maitake fungi growing in the forest, especially at the base of oak trees. A few of Maitake's magic powers include supporting low blood sugar, low blood pressure and low pathogen levels.
